Other things to note<\/h3>\r\n<\/div>\r\nPlease review everything below to know what to expect in staying in a century old home:

Entrance to the home includes a few steps on the porch that leads you into the kitchen which contains original cabinets and built-ins

Enjoy complimentary coffee (Keurig system) and tea, you can also find the basics in cookware and spices\/condiments

There is one bathroom with a tub and shower which was remodeled in 2013

*Please note that we are on a well system
-Water may sometimes smell like sulfur and the minerals in the water may
leave orange mineral stains in the shower and sinks

High quality reverse osmosis water (RO) is available for drinking and cooking on a separate spigot on the kitchen sink

There is one bedroom without a door, but has curtains for privacy which includes a queen bed, walk-in closet, room darkening curtains, and washer\/dryer with soap for your convenience.

*We do not recommend washing whites or lights in the washer due to the well water.

High Speed fiber WIFI available

Wall unit heaters for colder nights can be adjusted on the unit and in-window AC units are available for the warmer months

Though we do mitigation for bugs you can expect to see them inside and outside of the farmhouse especially during spring season

Bugs including spiders, ticks, ants, mosquitos, and wasps which are common around the farm and creatures such as coyotes, raccoons, opossums, mice, bats, and snakes all call Prairie Patch Farm home as it is a wildlife refuge and nature preserve.
Please consider this before booking your stay with us.

We welcome you to pet and interact with the Llamas, if they approach you- we ask that you do not chase them or feed them food of any kind
