earn your llama wrangler badge by attending one of our adult llama camps
half day camps are offered a few times a year to include hands on experience with llamas
learn the history of llamas, their care, how to catch and halter, brushing and leading them on a trail walk
llama snuggles of course are included
closed toes shoes are required
wear shoes that can get dirty and are waterproof, we will be mucking stalls and brushing out the animals

$95 per camper ages 18+
limited to 20 spots

Grade K-2nd June 24-27 9-12pm

Grade 1st-3rd June 24-27 1-4pm

Grade 3rd-5th July 8-11 9-12pm

this camp is perfect for nature & animal lover, or for those who would like to experience a taste of farm life and Iowa nature
campers will have unique & immersive experiences learning about llamas, goats, and pigs including their care & handling
we will also spend time in nature learning about Iowa’s natural habitats on our preserve and taking inspiration from these experiences for art projects
bring the following items to camp everyday
- wear closed toed shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty & muddy
- backpack to include:
- healthy snack & water bottle
- rain coat & hat
- sunscreen applied before camp, bug spray optional
we expect each camper to be respectful to humans & animals and to follow safety directions and rules of the head llama wranglers
$185 per camper
$15 option to purchase a camp shirt
registration opens 3/1 and closes 6/1
tuition is non-refundable unless we can fill the campers spot
spots are limited to 25 campers for each session
grade eligibility is for the grade completed in the 23/24 school year
